After purchasing the building in 2021, Old Town Grill & Tap opened in June 2022 with a vision and adapted concepts that have been successful in Grand Traverse, Antrim and Leelanau Counties.

“We are three brothers – Steve, Mark, and Matt – from Ohio by way of South Africa and the Philippines. We spent our summer vacations on Burt Lake & Indian River learning about the upnorth life at an early age and that’s something that always resonated with us. After successful careers in the automotive industry in Detroit which allowed us to travel the world, we were finally able to settle in this northern dreamworld.
The restaurants were born out of a love of food and the friends we made while working our way through college and the knowledge we were able to glean from those experiences. To that end, we hope that your time in the restaurant with family and friends lends itself to building similar memories and bonds. The sense of community and family we’ve taken from the 5 restaurant locations has been heartfelt and greatly appreciated. We are forever thankful for your support and well wishes.”
